Ordering and delivery

We have free shipping on all orders.

Our delivery time is a maximum of 7-10 business days from the day we receive your glasses. However, we always strive to deliver your frames with new lenses as quickly as possible and many of our customers experience that we deliver the glasses early.

Since we are exclusively an online store and have thus cut out the expensive intermediaries, we can offer the same high quality as opticians, but at a much lower price.

Yes, it is possible to order glasses with a sliding transition (multi-vision glasses). You can read more about our sliding transition glasses here .

Cylinder and axis are used if you have astigmatism.

The cylinder number means how much cylinder strength the lenses require with your astigmatism - you will be able to see this number on your vision test.

The axis number tells us where the cylinder power should be placed in the lens. The number shows the direction or angle (in degrees) from 1 to 180. A high number therefore does not mean that your power is high, but simply describes the location of the astigmatism.

PD stands for Pupil Distance and is the distance between your pupils. This measurement is used to determine where you see through the lens of your glasses. If you do not have a PD, you can note it in the comments field of your order and we can either measure it on old glasses or from pictures of you wearing your glasses.

Yes, we will send you a glasses-safe package in which you can safely return your glasses.

Glasses and lenses

Yes, you can add blue light filter lenses to your order. These lenses reduce the blue light from screens and can thus reduce fatigue and eye strain from prolonged screen use.

The choice of lens thickness depends on several factors - primarily strength and desired weight and appearance. Lens thickness is often described by an index number. The higher the index, the smaller the thickness. Thicker lenses are generally cheaper, but can only be used at lower strengths. Lenses with a higher index are thinner, lighter, and can accommodate more types of vision needs.

Standard glass (Index 1.5)
These lenses are most suitable for powers below +/- 1.

Thin glass (Index 1.6)
These glasses are up to 25% thinner than our standard glasses.
This thickness is recommended for strengths between +/- 1 and +/- 2.

Extra thin lenses (Index 1.67)
These glasses are 30% thinner than our standard glasses.
This thickness is recommended if your strength is between -/+ 2 and -/+ 4.

Ultra thin lenses (Index 1.74)
These glasses are up to 45% thinner than our standard glasses.
This thickness is recommended if your strength is above -/+ 4.

Progressive lenses are the same as multi-focal lenses. They are also called progressive lenses or lenses with a reading field. If you need lenses with different fields of vision, multi-focal lenses are the right choice for you. The great thing about multi-focal lenses is that you get multiple strengths in one lens. This gives you clear vision from all distances, and you therefore do not need several different glasses to see everything clearly. The older you get, the more difficult it is for your eyes to change focus and see clearly from different distances. With multi-focal lenses, you can easily read the newspaper, drive a car and sit in front of a screen without having to change your glasses. This makes your life easier, and you do not have to invest in several different types of lenses.

Single-vision lenses, as the name suggests, have only one single power, which is either plus or minus. You typically start with single-vision lenses, but over the years, you may need several different powers for different needs. Unlike single-vision lenses, glasses with multi-vision lenses have more than one power, so you can cover all your needs. Multi-vision lenses have smooth, invisible transitions between the different fields, so you don't notice that there are multiple powers in the lens. For this reason, they are also called glasses with a sliding gradient. However, you will clearly experience a larger field of vision with multi-vision lenses that are tailored to your needs.
